1. Agreement to Terms
By engaging RapidFlow Emergency Plumbing ("we", "our", "us") for any plumbing services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services
We provide plumbing, heating, and related services across Basingstoke and surrounding areas. Our services include but are not limited to:
- Emergency plumbing repairs
- Boiler repairs and servicing
- Central heating installation and maintenance
- Drain unblocking and cleaning
- Bathroom installations
- Gas safety inspections
3. Quotations and Pricing
- All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated
- Quotations are based on the information provided and may be revised upon inspection
- Emergency call-out charges may apply outside of standard hours
- VAT is included in all quoted prices unless otherwise specified
- We will always seek approval before undertaking any additional work
4. Payment Terms
- Payment is due upon completion of work unless agreed otherwise
- We accept cash, debit/credit cards, and bank transfers
- For larger projects, a deposit may be required
- Late payments may incur interest charges at 8% above the Bank of England base rate
5. Guarantees and Warranties
We stand behind the quality of our work:
- All workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months
- Parts fitted are covered by manufacturer warranties
- Guarantees do not cover damage caused by misuse or third-party interference
- Claims must be made in writing within the guarantee period
6. Cancellation Policy
- Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may incur a cancellation fee
- No-shows will be charged a call-out fee
7. Access and Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide safe and reasonable access to the work area
- Ensure an adult (18+) is present during the work
- Clear the work area of personal belongings where possible
- Inform us of any known hazards or issues
- Obtain any necessary permissions (e.g., from landlords)
8. Liability
We maintain public liability insurance of £2,000,000. Our liability is limited to the value of the work undertaken. We are not liable for pre-existing defects, damage caused by third parties, or consequential losses.
9. Complaints
We aim to resolve any complaints promptly. Please contact us within 14 days of the service. We will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within 14 days.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
