Landlord Legal Requirements
As a landlord, you are legally required to:
- Have all gas appliances and flues checked annually
- Keep records of gas safety checks for 2 years
- Provide a copy of the CP12 to tenants within 28 days
- Display CP12 in a prominent location in HMOs
